Balanced Rock Meditation
The Buddha's meditation instructions begin with the advice, "go to the forest or to the foot of a tree." These Balanced Rock courses speak to our core belief that nature is the best teacher-we only need to make ourselves present to her lessons. Led by skilled yet simple instruction, we dive into wilderness exploration to ultimately learn about ourselves.
Balanced Rock courses are ideal for anyone who is new to meditation, the outdoors or both; and most importantly, anyone who wants to explore awareness. Those experienced in meditation or backcountry travel will find something new and personally enriching in this unique combination. Our meditation program focuses on cultivating awareness rather than covering miles. The specific style and focus of each individual mediation practice varies, depending on the expertise of the instructor.
