I feel like I pushed both my mind and body to the max… and survived… and loved it!!… and want more.
I am so glad that I had the opportunity at Yosemite to reflect upon what is really important in life. I think that it will be easier for me to get rid of things that are not so important… and to be able to travel a bit lighter in my life.
The essence of the Jeffrey Pine and Incense-Cedar comes back in short, intoxicating bursts when I conjure up memories of being on the trail. I’m more aware of the rumble of thunder and the impending rainfall. I now have a better understanding of the delicate balance that is necessary for the survival of this land and all of the living, breathing beings that benefit from, and provide for her. I’ve gained perspective about what I really need, rather than what this society tells me is necessary.
A high point of the course was… meeting new and wonderful people and gaining a deeper connection with familiar friends.
I took great note that the instructors do not separate themselves from the group… they were very much teachers that were also peers, a very good quality as a leader.
One of the high points was the best guides ever…the instructional staff was tremendous, very likeable and friendly.
A unique opportunity to wed reflective and spiritual practice within the awe-inspiring setting of Yosemite. It makes for a powerful and life-altering experience!
