How will COVID-19 affect this event?

We are beyond excited to gather again in-person as this event has traditionally been in that format in past years. That being said, Balanced Rock is committed to the health and safety of all participants, instructors and staff. As this is an indoor event, we have outline the following requirements in order to honor and respect everyone’s safety:

  • Full COVID-19 vaccination status is required for all attendees. Proof of vaccination will be required prior to the event via email, or must be shown at the door on the day of the event.
  • A negative COVID test will not be required for entry (this may be subject to change)
  • Masks and facial coverings will not be required indoors (as long as that is congruent with Mariposa County guidelines at that time), but however participants are warmly welcomed to wear them for their own comfort level.

We will continue to monitor the health and safety protocols as recommended by the state and county guidelines, and these policies may be subject to change. Our staff is always available to discuss these policies and answer any questions or concerns you may have: (209) 379-9453 (please leave a voicemail) | info@balancedrock.org

FAQs

Do I have to register ahead of time or can I show up and pay at the door?

We will have the option for folks to pay at the door if there is space available in the class. We will accept cash, most major credit cards, PayPal or personal checks. Spots are limited so we highly recommend you to reserve your spot for whichever classes you want to attend ahead of time!

What happens if my plans change or I have to cancel?

Participants who are unable to attend and request a refund will be eligible minus a small administrative fee (10% of pass price).

We encourage you to purchase trip insurance for your flights, accommodations, etc. We do understand that emergencies may arise, but as we are a small non-profit organization, we are not able to make exceptions to this refund policy.

Balanced Rock reserves the right to cancel a course for force majeure or any other circumstances beyond our control such as state/county-advised health mandates, fire, flood, or other natural disaster. We also reserve the right to cancel any program if sign-ups are inadequate to make the program economically feasible for us to operate. If this happens, we give a full refund to all participants. However, Balanced Rock Foundation is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip (e.g., non-refundable air tickets, gear or medical expenses). You may consider purchasing additional trip insurance as detailed above.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat or props?

We encourage participants to bring their own yoga mats, however we will have sanitized mats onsite should you need to borrow one for class(es). Any props that the instructors will use in their own classes will be sanitized and provided for you. Participants should bring their own water bottle to have with them in class to stay hydrated!

Can I purchase a pass to gift to someone else?

Absolutely! We just ask that the person attending the class is the information we have on file (the information we collect at registration). This is important for health and liability purposes. Should you like to gift a pass to a loved one, feel free to contact our office directly and we can help you set it up.

Can I bring my kids or pets?

While we love the kiddos and the fur babies, we ask that the classes are for adult humans only, so that everyone can relax and enjoy. If you would like to bring your kids or would require child care, there will be 1-2 free Kids Yoga classes during the day created for the little ones so that you can attend your class(es) and not fret about child care! Please contact Balanced Rock directly if this is a service you will require and we can give you more information.

Can I just attend to visit the Wellness Vendor Booths?

Yes, you can come and support our Wellness Vendors without participating in the main event. We will be announcing our wellness vendors via social media, stay tuned to our Facebook and Instagram channels to learn who will be joining us for this special event!
