Program Details
The yoga tradition of Sankalpa offers a refreshing alternative to the New Year’s resolution. Sankalpa, meaning deep resolve or heartfelt desire, is a practice that originates from the radical premise that everything you need to fulfill your life’s dharma, or purpose, is already within you.
During this 4-hour, retreat-style workshop, you will learn about Sankalpa and how to apply it to your own life. You will be guided to move your body in a warming and heart-centered yoga asana practice. Once the body is open and relaxed, the container for heart and brain coherence is created. You will then be safely guided on a meditation journey to connect with your heart’s desires, and invited to explore the outcome through a guided journaling activity. Culminating your efforts, and solidifying your intention, we will end our time together with a powerful cleansing fire ceremony.
Farewell to 2021! It is time to dream, imagine, believe, and create our most desired reality.
This New Year’s ceremony is a powerful opportunity to truly activate a Yoga practice in your daily routine, to clearly claim how you want to move into the new year, and step into your full power as the healers of our time! We hope you will join us!
