Program Details

Spend a weekend delighting in creative heart-based practices with Balanced Rock’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Heather Sullivan. This weekend workshop will be based at the luxurious Yosemite Moonstone Retreat nestled in the foothills at the west entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Each morning we will begin the day with supportive yoga and mindfulness practices in the Moonstone’s Yoga Studio with sweeping vistas of the Merced River and surrounding hillsides and peaks.

Each afternoon we will have a facilitated writing session and time for riverside strolls. There is spaciousness in the afternoons for to book a massage or experience the stunning beauty of winter in Yosemite through a privately-guided hike or tour. We will delight in lovingly cooked meals by a local artisanal chef, including a night by the famous Moonstone pizza oven. Evenings will be spacious for time to gather by the fire, play music or share stories in sacred community.

What is included?

3 days of reflective writing, yoga movement sessions, and exploring self-care through loving practices! This retreat features*:

*Several additional luxurious amenities are available to those who book a room at the Yosemite Moonstone house during the program: the outdoor kitchen with fire pit and wood-burning pizza oven, Japanese ofuro soaking tub, ping pong table, complimentary coffee and access to the chef’s kitchen, full laundry with detergent and organic toiletries provided.
