Balanced Rock is celebrating 25 years in 2025! We’re honoring this milestone by hosting a 5-day retreat in Yosemite National Park, featuring all of our classic offerings: nature yoga, mindfulness, reflective journaling, nature immersion & exploration, nourishing meals, and community bonding.

We hope you will join us for the full 5 days, and please know that weekend and one-day passes are available.

  • Celebrate 25 years of Balanced Rock with a one-of-a-kind, 5-Day Gathering in Yosemite National Park!

This special anniversary retreat is an invitation to reconnect — with nature, with community, and with the essence of Balanced Rock’s mission. Unlike our regular programs, this gathering blends our signature curriculum of yoga, mindfulness, and nature connection with ample time for organic interactions and shared experiences.

We welcome past and present participants, staff, volunteers, Board Members, friends, family, and partners to gather in a vibrant community setting. Whether rekindling old connections or forging new ones, this retreat creates space for spontaneous conversations, laughter, and the joy of being together in a place that has inspired us for decades.

Daily guided yoga and meditation practices will ground our days, while optional hikes to Yosemite’s iconic locations offer opportunities for adventure. Evenings will feature engaging programs, guest speakers, and nourishing meals prepared with care. This retreat is both a celebration of Balanced Rock’s legacy and a collective pause to honor the transformative power of nature and community.

  • • Pre-trip support with our experienced team and trip leaders, so you feel fully prepared coming to Yosemite

    • Access to Yosemite for the duration of the trip (no need to reserve a Park entry pass when the reservation system is in effect, one is included in your registration!)

    • All meals included during the trip, which are Ayurvedic-inspired and curated to honor your dietary needs

    • Lodging at one of the cabins (participants will need to bring their own linens, see recommended gear list)

    • Professional instruction and guidance through retreat activities

    • An unforgettable experience in the heart of Yosemite Valley

Balanced Rock provides expert guidance, first-aid supplies, and group gear.

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat location, any park entrance fees, and personal items (see What to Bring for more details).
